Makeup On Trend: Dior Show Pump‘N’Volume Mascara

Dior Show Diorshow Pump‘N’Volume Mascara

During Paris fashion week Dior unveiled a new collection featuring  its new Dior show Pump ‘N’ volume mascara.  This product features something we haven’t seen in the world of mascara, a flexible tube! Its bendability allows you to squeeze, warm up and soften up your mascara before you put in on. Genius! No more adding eye drops to your mascara or soaking the tube in hot water to keep the formula fresh after a few weeks. Dior designed this tube with a curve at the bottom where you can place your fingers and squeeze when you start to run low. Perfect! I’m getting every last drop out of that tube!  The idea of being able to load up the brush without having to pump or swirl is particularly awesome because it reduces the risk of transferring bacteria and prematurely drying out the product. This tube also comes with a elastomeric brush is firm enough to style lashes without them clumping and  is said to have “a bounce effect” allowing for fullness and definition. Pump ‘N’ Volume launched April 1, 2017 and retails for $29.50. “The idea was to make the impossible, possible—to create very thick lashes without clumping, as I can do backstage. By pumping, you soften the formula and get a creamy volumizing effect that creates really rich lashes.”—Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup. Well Peter, I am super pumped to try this mascara. I’m headed to Sephora this weekend! Reviews on this product have been mixed so far. I’ve seen everything from I love it to I just spent 30 bucks on junk. I have to see for myself.  I rarely get this excited about a mascara, hopefully it will live up to the hype. I will keep you guys updated on what I think.
