Beyoncé Drops ‘Formation’ Scholarship in Honor of One-Year of Lemonade

Drop a Formation Scholarship like…

On Monday Beyoncé announced Scholarships for Black Women Pursuing Higher Education. The formation scholarship, as it’s called is a 25,000 scholarship that will be awarded to a female student at  Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Spelman College, and Parsons School of Design for incoming, current and graduate students studying African-American studies, creative arts, literature or music. The Formation scholarships correspond with the year anniversary of her album, Lemonade. While I am not a part of the hive I must say Beyoncé is a superstar. Not only does she entertain us with song and dance , she randomly sprinkles black girl magic all over the world and leaves us covered in glitter. Let me tell you, I  am here for it! Not only me, Mrs. Obama took to twitter to display her support writing “Always inspired by your powerful contributions @Beyoncé, You are a role model for us all. Thank you for investing in our girls.” She followed up with the crown and bee emoijis.

Let’s get those SAT’s and GRE’s and get in formation! The four “Formation Scholars” awards, will be  available for the 2017-2018 academic years. According to Bey’s website, all details and application deadlines are available directly through the colleges.
